LOCAL BANK LENDS A HELPING HAND TO FEDERAL EMPLOYEES DURING GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN

Jan 18, 2019

The Federal government shutdown has left hundreds of people in our local areas struggling to make ends meet as they wait for compensation. First Keystone Community Bank (FKCB) will help make this time a little easier by offering special programs for these individuals. FKCB is offering a deferred principal payment program to their FKCB consumer loan customers who are unpaid Federal employees and qualify due to the Federal government shutdown. This will allow those individuals to make interest-only payments for up to three months in order to help them catch up on their bills.

First Keystone will also be offering an “Emergency Cashline” program to existing and new customers that includes:

  • A revolving line of credit ranging from $500 to $5,000
  • No annual fee for the first year
  • Special interest rate for 3 months
  • FKCB checking account is required and must be linked to Cashline for automatic payment Approval of Cashline is subject to a credit review and underwriting

For additional information and terms, Federal government employees currently in an unpaid status are encouraged to contact the bank at 570-752-3671 or visit the bank’s website at www.fkc.bank.  First Keystone Community Bank is ready to help during this crisis.
