Helping customers improve their lives is Elizabeth’s (Liz’s) favorite part of her job at First Keystone Community Bank.

Since 2011, Liz has been helping customers one way or the other. “As bankers, we have the ability to help people improve their homes, take their dream vacations or just financially reset.”

Liz started her career in banking after moving back to the area when her mother, a veteran banker for more than 20 years, steered her to a rewarding career that can help her advance.

“First Keystone was a great starting point for me,” Thomas said. “Not only was it a respectable bank in the community, but it was near to my home. Not having a far commute was a plus after being on the road in my previous job.”

Liz started her banking career as a floating teller/customer service representative in the Berwick area, then became a permanent CSR at the main office. She eventually shifted to loan officer where she advanced to her current position in the loan department.

“Helping customers manage their debts through the loans they get here is truly rewarding,” Thomas said. “But my favorite part of the job is the team atmosphere—working with the people on the frontline to better assist and serve our customers.”

In her spare time, Liz enjoys running, reading and spending time with friends and family.
