LOCAL BANKERS COMPLETE PA BANKERS ASSOCIATION’S SCHOOL OF COMMERCIAL LENDING

Aug 27, 2025

Berwick, PA— Adam Fritz and Giuseppe Baratta, credit analysts from First Keystone Community Bank (FKCB), recently completed coursework at the 2025 Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) School of Commercial Lending on June 8-12 at The Penn Stater Conference Center, State College, PA.

Fritz has served the banking industry for almost six years, working as a customer service representative at First Columbia Bank and Trust for two years before starting at FKCB as a credit analyst in November 2021. He graduated from the School of Commercial Lending with top honors based on his outstanding score on the final examination and received the highest academic achievement in the class. Since returning from the school, he has been applying what he’s learned to further enhance FKCB’s underwriting and analysis process.

Baratta has served the banking industry for four years since he joined FKCB as a credit analyst in October 2021. As credit analysts, both Baratta and Fritz analyze financial data from individuals or businesses to assess the risk of extending credit and prepare reports to support loan decisions and recommendations. He is utilizing his experience at the school by implementing a new way to track line of credit usage for commercial customers.

PA Bankers’ School of Commercial Lending provides educational content similar to 200- and 300-level college course study. Topics for this program include business development, credit structuring, the practical application of commercial lending knowledge, and client and internal communication.
