Innovation in the Classroom Legacy Grant

Berwick, Pennsylvania – First Keystone Community Bank, in line with its commitment to support education and foster innovation within the local community, announced the continuation of the Innovation in the Classroom Legacy Grant. Initiated in 2024 as part of the bank’s 160th Anniversary celebration, First Keystone has committed to sponsoring yearly mini-grants totaling $1,600 that will be awarded to teachers within the Berwick Area School District. These grants, which range from $400-$800, will support creative and innovative projects across all grade levels, empowering educators to enhance their classrooms and provide dynamic learning opportunities for students.
“We are incredibly grateful to First Keystone Community Bank for their support of our district,” said Mrs.Wendy Kuspky, superintendent of the Berwick Area School District. “Their generosity will have a lasting impact, ensuring that our students are prepared with the skills and tools they need for success in today’s competitive workforce.”
Any preschool, elementary, or secondary teacher, guidance counselor, school nurse or librarian employed by Berwick Area School District is encouraged to apply for the grant. Applications can be downloaded from the bank’s website www.fkc.bank, obtained from the school principal or requested via email to [email protected]. All applications for the 2025-2026 school year must be submitted by June 30, 2025 to be considered for funding.
