FIRST KEYSTONE COMMUNITY BANK ANNOUNCES NEW COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICERS
Berwick – First Keystone Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas Popko, VP/Commercial Services Officer, Christopher Matthews, AVP/Commercial Services Officer, and Sarah Maneval, VP/Commercial Services Officer. Popko and Matthews are based out of the Scott Township office along Route 11 in Bloomsburg and Maneval is based out of the Danville office.
Popko has extensive experience in banking and finance. His career in commercial banking began at United Penn Bank and continued through acquisitions and mergers with Mellon Bank and Citizens Bank. For the past several years, Tom was the business manager for their family-owned pharmacy. Tom is a graduate of Wilkes University with a BS in Finance and Accounting, as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Tom has always been community-oriented, having participated on various boards and organizations, including Community Giving Foundation; Rotary Club; American Red Cross; Greater Hazleton Community Area New Development Org.; and Knights of Columbus.
Tom was born and raised in Mountain Top and has resided in Berwick for the past 25 years with his wife, Lisa and children, Gabriella and Gianni.
Chris Matthews grew up in the Mifflinville area and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bloomsburg University. Chris started his banking career in the Asset Based Lending Department in Philadelphia before moving back to the area to work for First Keystone as a Credit Analyst, until being promoted to Commercial Loan Officer.
Matthews is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending and is currently enrolled in the Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce Leadership Central Penn program. He currently resides in Mifflinville with his wife, Ally, stepdaughter Addi, and their two dogs, Axle, and Louie.
Sarah Maneval comes to First Keystone with eleven years of banking experience, starting as a teller, and moving into the commercial services area specializing in agricultural and farm loans.
She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Sarah serves as treasurer for the Selinsgrove Rotary Club, a board member of the Middlecreek Area Community Center, and a member of the Woman’s Leadership Committee with the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Port Trevorton with her husband and three children.
