FIRST KEYSTONE BANKERS COMPLETE LEADERSHIP CENTRAL PENN PROGRAM
Berwick, PA – Credit Analyst Melanie Fisher, Computer Operations Supervisor Brent Eckart, and Accounting Manager/Assistant Cashier Stacy Gordner, graduated from the 2023 Leadership Central Penn (LCP) program on May 18, 2023. The LCP program is a run by the Foundation of the Columbia Montour Chamber.
Leadership Central Penn (LCP) is a nine-month program designed to identify, educate, involve, and motivate a select group of area citizens for leadership positions. Its goals are to seek men and women from a broad range of geographical, institutional, and economic backgrounds with an interest in and ability for assuming effective leadership roles. Participants in the program are chosen based on their commitment to the community and their demonstrated leadership potential.
Before the certificates were awarded, members of the class presented their community impact projects. LCP class members split into four groups to maximize their community impact and partnered with four nonprofits serving our communities. FKCB graduates worked with Beyond Violence of Berwick to paint an entryway and organize donations for the women to use while they are staying at the center. The project was demanding, but fulfilling to the graduates, Beyond Violence, and the community members they serve.
“We are proud of our employees and their accomplishments in the LCP program. They will use the information and skills they learned to better serve our local communities, our customers, and fellow employees,” states First Keystone President and CEO Elaine Woodland.
