Meet Jennifer Groblewski. She is one of our newest Community Office Managers at First Keystone Community Bank (FKCB). With over 13 years of experience working in the banking field, Jennifer is a dedicated employee who goes above and beyond for her coworkers and customers. Let’s take a closer look at Jennifer’s Employee Spotlight!
Jennifer was born and raised in the Back Mountain in Dallas, PA, and graduated from Dallas High School. She continued her education at Luzerne County Community College for business administration.
Starting out her career, Jennifer applied for an entry level position in the banking field and made her entrance into the exciting world of banking. “After working in the hospitality industry for a few years I decided on a different path and was given the opportunity to start out in an entry level teller position,” Jennifer said.
During her tenure in the banking field, Jennifer has held a variety of positions allowing her to gain experience in roles from the back office to learning all aspects of the front line from account opening to lending.
“Over the years, I was able to grow into different roles, learn new skill sets, and take on additional responsibilities,” Jennifer said. “Being part of First Keystone Community Bank’s management team allows me to utilize the knowledge I have gained through my time in banking.”
She started with FKCB as an Assistant Community Office Manager in 2020 and accepted the role of Community Office Manager of our Kingston Branch in 2021. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with the customers and helping them achieve their financial goals. Jennifer takes great pride in helping people fulfill their aspirations.
“As my time in banking passed, I discovered that I really enjoyed what I was doing; every day is different and I love working with my customers,” Jennifer said. “Plus, my role at FKCB enables me to really embrace our local community. Contributing to the growth and well-being of our community is significant to me because it empowers me to help make a positive difference where we live.”
Community is very important to Jennifer. She attends various events throughout the region to support many of the different organizations and non-profits in the area.
Jennifer is an active member of the Back Mountain Chamber’s Cultural Committee which gives her the opportunity to help plan the annual cultural event held in August. “It’s a great way to bring the community together for a wonderful night of music, food, and drinks. By holding this yearly event we’re able to raise funds for the chamber and non-profits through the generosity of donations from the fantastic local businesses and individuals.”
Outside the bank, Jennifer loves to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys going to the movies, reading, and trying out new local eateries and shops. She loves living in NEPA for the fall foliage and the hometown feel of the area where she grew up.
First Keystone Community Bank is proud to include Jennifer into its family. Feel free to stop by our Kingston branch to say hi to Jennifer!
