A Heartfelt Farewell

As the employees prepare to send our fondest wishes to Elaine, our current president and CEO, as she begins her next chapter, we’d like to share some special thoughts for a healthy and happy retirement.

Amanda Jarski

“You were our fearless CEO who led with empathy, understanding, and empowerment.  Because of you, I was offered opportunities that may have never happened otherwise.  I am forever thankful and grateful.”

June George

“You have been my colleague and friend since I started my banking career and you were my greatest inspiration. I appreciate your leadership and guidance, and I am grateful for the opportunities you have given me to contribute to the FKCB team. Thank you for everything, and I hope your retirement is as enriching and rewarding as the impact you’ve had on all of us.”

Rebecca Hooper

“I wish you many years of enjoyment in your retirement.  I hope you do a lot of traveling and have a lot of fun.”

John Dougherty

“Working under Elaine’s leadership and being a part of the FKCB team was a pleasure. It’s always been a very positive experience for me knowing that Elaine is always available to speak with me and assist me when needed. Coming from a large financial institution to a community bank was a game changer for me and a very successful transition. I am proud to represent FKCB and Elaine as our president and CEO.”

Yolanda Francis

“To Elaine-Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t. You will be truly missed. I wish you nothing but good health, happiness and plenty of relaxation.”

Mark McDonald

“The word that comes to mind when I think of Elaine is … well, nevermind.  The SECOND word that comes to mind is “serene.”  Elaine has always been the calm in the eye of the storm – chaos and uncertainty might be swirling all around us, but Elaine has always been the voice of calm and reason … the person who reassured us (as a sign in her office asserted) that “everything is figureoutable.”  She’s shepherded our organization with calm self-assurance, consistently displaying integrity, open-mindedness, approachability and (above all) KINDNESS.  Her gentle disposition lies, I think, at the very heart of who she is as a person and a leader … and we’ve all been made better by bearing witness to her example.  Elaine, I’d like to thank you for all the kindness and understanding that you’ve shown to me and countless others within our organization.  You’ll be dearly missed!”

Chris Zlobik

“When Elaine accepted the position of president and CEO, she brought a breath of fresh air to the Bank. I am grateful for the time she always so willingly gave to communicate with me. I look to her as a mentor and appreciate the faith she had in me as I followed my career path throughout the bank. She will be missed here, but I wish the very best for her retirement.”

Jonathan Littlewood

“Elaine, congratulations on a well-deserved retirement.  You led with professionalism and grace.  Thank you for all you have done for the employees and customers you served.  Thank you for setting the Bank and its employees up for a successful future. You will be missed.  Look forward to seeing you on Tuesdays!”

Ryan Nagle

“Thank you for being the most down to earth leader that I have ever worked with.  It has been a blessing having someone so approachable and supportive lead our organization.  Thank you for everything that you have done for us and being such a staunch supporter of the IT Department’s efforts to rebuild our team and our efforts to improve the bank’s tech posture.  We will certainly miss you.”

Diane C.A. Rosler

“It has been one of the major highlights of my career to have had the pleasure of working for and with such a wonderfully talented, intelligent, thought-provoking, kind, caring leader in such a challenging industry. She is truly a lady with innumerable multifaceted life interests, and it is a true treasure to be able to call her ‘friend’.”

Cheryl Wynings

“I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to work by your side. Your sweet caring disposition and kind heart will always be remembered, not only by me but every person that crossed your path. You are a true leader and even more, a wonderful friend. Know that you will be missed every day! I know the Lord has wonderful days ahead for you – enjoy each moment!! From my heart, I thank you for everything.”
