Family is important to Renee. It’s the reason she moved back to the area and it’s the reason she joined First Keystone Community Bank (FKCB).

“After being out of the area for 50 years, I moved back to Pennsylvania to be with my family,” Renee said. “When I interviewed with First Keystone, I liked the warm, open feeling. I soon realized that we genuinely are a family here at FKCB.”

Born in Wilkes-Barre, Renee relocated to Delaware where she lived and worked for 50 years in the propane and credit fields. When she was looking for a career change after moving back to Pennsylvania, a position opened with FKCB at just the right time.

“I wanted a change in careers after I came back,” Renee said. “I did have some knowledge of banking regulations, loans and credit management from my previous positions, so the opening at First Keystone was the perfect fit.”

Renee started her career at FKCB three years ago as a floating teller and soon moved on to customer service representative at the Mountain Top branch where she enjoys helping customers reach their goals.

“I love multi-tasking and being able to diversify myself when needed to help others,” Renee said. “But the customers and my co-workers are my favorite part of the job. The staff is great!”

Renee also enjoys the chance to grow and improve that FKCB offers to its employees.

“FKCB gives its employees the opportunity to keep growing with the customers to help meet their needs in the most positive and efficient way,” Renee said. “I want to keep learning and growing with the company.”

Outside of work, Renee enjoys arts and crafts, shuffleboard, cooking and baking, traveling, and solving crossword puzzles. But her favorite activity?

“I enjoy spending time with my family and friends more than anything. They are the most important thing,” she said.
